Through work with this group I have delivered meals to many homebound senior citizens of the Fremont, Newark, and Union City area. In addition I have participated in the Health Department's random audit of safe food handling.

I provide administrative support to Norae Ferrara, RD. Part of my work in the clinic involves observing client meetings, with client permission, in order to better understand the outpatient clinical private practice. Additionally, I prepared and gave a presentation for patients of the Golden Gate Cancer Center concerning diet and prostate cancer.
Officer - CAND: Diablo Valley District Representative

Attended monthly meetings and relayed relevant information to all SDA members.
I also assist with meeting set up and take down for SDA monthly gatherings. I actively participated in National Nutrition Month activities and played a role in the organization of the Dietetic Internship Workshop
Volunteer Assistant to DPD Director

As Claire Walsh, MS, RD's assistant, I manage the DPD website and ensure the accuracy of the published information. Additionally, I distribute employment and volunteer opportunities to current students and recent graduates. Special projects include document creation for optimized graduate tracking.
